In the post-pandemic recovery phase, we have seen strategic pivots in CSR activities by private institutions. However, various changes need to be made for moving toward the progressive, and healthcare-driven CSR that is being envisioned. The following elements can bring change and have a tangible impact on the CSR sector.
– Enabling legislation that widens the scope, management, and deployment of CSR funds to create flexibility.
– Create awareness about the advantages of CSR investment in healthcare by profiling success stories among stakeholders. This will create confidence and attract more CSR funding in the focus areas.
– Create policies that help agencies in manufacturing affordable products that are simple to develop, access, and invest in. This should be supported by the creation of norms for proper marketing and management of the products.
– Capacity building: there is a need to create a standardized curriculum that includes product and process training avenues for building an efficient implementation ecosystem.
