Sehhaty is an application provided by the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia with a vision to increase health awareness in the community. Headquartered in Riyadh, the app was released in 2017 on App Store and Google Play. Currently, Sehhaty is free to download and has an active user base of more than 24 million people.
Sehhaty serves as the National Population Health Platform for all citizens. Registered users can obtain health information and receive medical e-services from different healthcare providers through the application. The Ministry of the Kingdom aims to integrate all healthcare applications to facilitate easy access to quality healthcare. Work is ongoing to merge services and provide a seamless digital health platform. Some services included are:
1. COVID-19 Tests appointments: With 24+ million appointments
2. COVID-19 Vaccine: 51+ million vaccine dosages administered
3. Appointments: 3.8+ million physician and virtual appointments booked
4. Medical Reporting (e.g., Sick leave): 9.5 million+ Sick leave reports issued
5. Real-time consultation: 1.5+ million consultations provided
