Conecte SUS is a free healthcare application founded by the Ministry of Health of Brazil in 2018. The application’s purpose was to create a platform for Brazilian citizens to access and monitor their health history in the Brazilian National Health System, also known as the Unified Health System (SUS).
Conecte SUS is actively used by 20 million people in Brazil and Latin America to get information on medical tests, and medication dispensed by Brazil’s Popular Pharmacy, access one’s history of hospital admission, and quickly locate health establishments like Rare Diseases services or Oral Health.
In order to control the public emergency since the Covid pandemic, all efforts of the application were redirected to providing Covid-related support such as vaccination details, covid test results, and issuance of the vaccine certificate. Apart from that, there is an option to check a person’s Body Mass Index (BMI) and access nutritional tips for fitness on Conecte SUS, which is available on both Apple and Android devices.
