Ada – check your health is a free Germany-based health checkup application created in 2016. Now available across the European Union, the app has a user base of 12 million people. The application’s main aim is to assess one’s symptoms through its Artificial Intelligence technology and come up with a personalized health assessment report, which can be shared with a doctor in PDF format. The AI runs probabilistic reasoning and gives condition suggestions to be reviewed by a medical expert. The goal of Ada is not to replace human doctors, but to support their clinical decision-making and prevent any medical oversight by them.
Ada has completed 25 million assessments over the years. The application guarantees 24/7 access to users and can be communicated in 7 languages. From common medical conditions such as rashes, acne, indigestion, diarrhea, eye infections, etc. to obstetric, pediatric, and mental health, rare and high-risk conditions are all comprehensively covered on Ada. The app has generated total funding of $189.5M to date.
