The use of IoT is increasing throughput psychiatry. Various wearable devices are being developed that can monitor and improve one’s mental health. Following are a few examples-

–           Meditation headband: this device can be used to receive live feedback about your meditation practice. For an effective mediation session, the headband will provide you with data about your brain activity, breathing techniques, body movements, and heart rate. It can also play tranquil sounds that respond to your brain waves.

–           Stress Regulating Neckband: Using its patented neuroscience technology, this device applies gentle vibrations behind your ears that initiate a natural biological pathway between the brain and the skin. It activates the part of the brain that regulates anxiety and makes you calm.
