If ChatGPT Run the Country

What if ChatGPT became President? Imagine the first press conference.
No podium. No speeches. Just a blinking cursor on a big screen.

“All debates will be conducted in writing. Please keep responses under 500 words.”
It sounds funny, but it also makes you think.

What kind of policies would an AI leader prioritize?
→ Education that adapts to every student in real time
→ Healthcare that predicts illness before symptoms appear
→ Climate models that guide policy with data, not politics
→ Transparent decision-making logs everyone can actually read

Of course, an AI president couldn’t walk into a village fair or read the room during a crisis.
But it could optimize, analyze, and never forget a promise.

The question isn’t whether machines should govern. That’s a debate for philosophers.
The question is what we might learn about ourselves if we imagined it.

So, if ChatGPT sat in the Oval Office (or your Parliament), what’s the first policy you’d want it to pass?
